Extremely Effective

I usually have 5-6 new clients a day for work and was having trouble remembering their names and details so I decided to try this app. In 2 months I have gone from not being able to remember new clients names after 5 minutes to remembering their full names and all pertinent details without needing to review notes. I also can easily recall 50 digits of pi, all major countries and capitals, and tons of random information. I cannot stress enough how effective this app is. If these types of memory tools were taught in schools my life would have been significantly easier. Getting this app was honestly one of the best things I have ever done for myself.

It’s good!!!!

Just started using the app. I am on day 4 and so far I learned in a few minutes the ten largest countries by square miles/kilometers. It was so easy. Also, learned in a few minutes how I can memorize each of the 12 Greek Mythological gods and what they represent. This learning can be applied to different areas. Also, it is now easy to memorize a shopping list of 10 without writing it down. I studied how to memorize it this morning and now it is about 6pm and it is fresh in my mind. Now i am about to continue my lesson and I will to learn to memorize a list of a more objects. I can see this methodology working well for my 60 year old brain. Just getting use to the virtual rooms in the app and the token stuff. Not sure what my tokens are for yet. It's fine but, I enjoy more the lessons with the co- creator of the app . I am learning my lessons for free; although, it gives the option to buy. I'm skipping it for now and learning for free, but i am sure eventually i will. purchase the plan. I like the app a lot. Bye , going to start my next lesson.

Truly one of the only apps out there that will teach you REAL memory techniques from the experts. The techniques provided here date back at least as far as the ancient Greeks, but their impact in our increasingly forgetful, absentminded world is more relevant than ever. What memory champion Yonis Von Essen and the team at memoryOS give you here is clear, short lessons filled with great examples and lots of structured opportunities to practice. I used the app for just 15 minutes a day for about two weeks and already felt confident giving a two minute speech off-book for an audience of 300 people at my job. The strategies work! But there’s more — the virtual memory palaces in the app give you something that a book or blog on memory techniques can’t — an organized, visually stimulating memory map that is easy to navigate and, frankly, fun to explore. The team didn’t need to build a maze with this level of creativity — Druidic temples, a mushroom shaped wizard house, a Victorian garden — but I’m glad they did. These lessons are actually really fun and I’m getting some good trivia knowledge. I used visual pneumonics to remember drugs and viruses in school so I believe these techniques will work wonders now that I’m *much* older. Not sure how the palaces work and not sure if I was supposed to start all the rooms on day zero? Stagger them? Complete one room prior to moving on?

I am very impressed by this great program, it is a really fun and engaging app with a lot of features. The creation of mind palaces combined with the Free Spaced Repetition Scheduler is fantastic and a very clever way to get you to develop a base for memory challenges. Super app! I could remember extensive lists with these great methodes! My feedback would be when you're at the exercises, a link to the related lesson could be found, to be watched it again. For instance, I totally forgot about the 10 roman emperors and so I wanted to watch the lesson again. But it was hard to find it 😕

The App I Needed

I’ve always been fascinated by tools and techniques that can improve memory. I used to read books and listen to audio to learn the techniques. Unfortunate for me, they never really stuck. I’m so happy I discovered memoryOS (as a Kickstarter supporter). I didn’t immediately start using it… Once I did, it has become a dedicated part of my life. It’s part of my routine and it’s fantastic. Repetition, hands on exercises, and video tutorials. Excellent. Thanks guys. The techniques are finally sticking.

Short term memory deteriorating.

As I've gotten older my shor term memory recall has gradually deteriorated. Not to a serious degree, but enough to cause my wife and I some concern. This method has proved easy to follow so far, and I will place another review in a few weeks to update the rating.

I’m finding that my ability to remember numbers is significantly improved! Very surprising as I have always struggled to recall numerical lists. I’ve also found that I can memorize the palaces faster than when I started. I will say, though, that the graphics in some of the palaces are very difficult to memorize as the pictures are not at all clear.

I was disappointed with my memory, a few exercises and techniques were enough, it is easy to put fifteen unrelated things into long-term memory in a short time, and without thinking about them at all, after a while I can list them all in the order in which they were. The Memory Palace technique really works and it is easier to use than I expected. It is strange that we are not taught such things in schools. I recommend it to everyone.

Great tools for memory

I was skeptical but these short lessons really do help! I can remember the 10 largest Countries by surface area and I did this short lesson twice.. very impressed. I’m excited to see my progress in the coming months. I will be using this app daily.

The only thing I don't like is I have to be incredibly precise when writing down words, but I will probably learn a technique about it later on. I like everything else and I use what I learned already in real life.

I had ZERO faith in this but I thought I’ll give it a try anyways, within LESS than 10 minutes I’ve memorized the top 10 largest countries. I’m honestly shocked. I never ever review apps but this truly deserves it. Just give it a try for 10 minutes and you’ll be blown away. I’ll be telling all my friends about it. If the creator is reading this THANK YOU! This app is amazing.

I don’t usually leave feedback but this app is worth it. I’m really really loving it. Every day with my breakfast I open the app and transfer a room, or do a lesson or practice the numbers major system with a notebook. I saw that my memory improved a lot, even when I’m not trying too hard. I’m more focused and I’m remembering people’s names I only saw once or twice in my life, (even people from before the training). I’m super excited because I always thought of myself as a forgetful person and that’s something I wanted to change for the longest time. One unexpected and totally pleasant side effect is that I noticed that all of the sudden I’m remembering memories of my life that I didn’t even know were there. And that’s big, really big. So I want to thank you for the app and encourage the whole team to keep working at it because this really changes lives.

I have read about most of the memory techniques you present, but this has brought into focus how to apply. Great job creating multiple memory palaces - you make them so memorable. One suggestion - I have a varied schedule from day to day, week to week. It would be great to be able to shift the review times during the day away from times I’m trying to sleep where the week before was transfering a new room in the middle of the night, waiting for my next work assignment. All in all, great work!!

I like playing the memory transfers but it’s kind of confusing what and when we need to do them. Also there seems to be more material. Like an intro that I don’t know about until a week after I started doing the transfers. I wish they would recommend what we would need to do each day in a plan (ie: watch this video, do this transfer, etc.)

very clearly explained and well supported through the accompanying tests. I just reproduced the first 50 decimal digits of pi from memory and - amazingly - found it easy. That was unimaginable to me 2-3 weeks ago. I would love even more content on numbers and technical subjects - eg memorizing formulas or abstract machine learning concepts.

Generally there is interesting explanation of memory techniques, a lot of them are known to me. Some lessons with suggested examples are a bit.. eccentric I would say. Association method is a personal thing and sometimes it’s hard to follow the logic’s of an autor. But the main problem is that I have paid subscription and can’t continue with geography lessons (which are most interesting to me) because of a bug. There is no separate Luxembourg picture on the map to click in Western Europe lesson, so you can’t click to go further. Support hasn’t answered for 4 days or so already. I’m not happy with it.

A good and easy to use memory trainer app

This app is easy to use and although there are possibilities to use money, the free version is also excellent and it has been enough for me so far. The "game like" exercises are easy to follow, inspiring and fun. I don't know, if this really helps me to better use my memory, but for sure I learn different techniques to use the memory and get my brains activated. And that feels really good!

Interesting way of learning

I have never heard of loci learning however I can certainly appreciate its application in learning. I am studying medicine, science as it relates to nursing, I am 62 years old & while I certainly have a good memory, I sometimes have a difficult time recalling things that I have read & studied. I am trying to learn this method so that I can apply it to the vast amount of information that I must learn.

I've taken memory training before and didn't expect to learn as much as I have in the first three days. This is definitely a great way to refresh your skills if you have developed them as I did a long time ago or to start from scratch. Everything is very well thought out and easy to work with.

I appreciate how explanations are…

I appreciate how explanations are broken down in their component parts. If anything can be improved - perhaps an earlier explanation on how the virtual rooms are connected to improving memory. Because when I first started exploring the rooms, it seemed like a waste of time to memorize stuff in room, when I wanted to be improving my memory. Later I understood I was building a memory palace and "loki" would be useful further down the road.

The instructions are easy to follow.

Sometimes O don't understand the teacher but it could be because of my poor English.

Unfortunately in English only, so even though I understand the examples and know I must adapt them to my mother tongue, it would be great to have these in my native language. If you keep going with adding 1 new room via the "Transfer" per day and follow the follow-up spaced repitition schedule, being sure to purchase rooms in order of cheapness (all 5s, all 10s, all 15s, all 20s across palaces), it is easily affordable (aka free) and fun to grind towards. And because it is a useful skill, I actually "feel a sense of pride and accomplishment." Unlike grinding for some character🤷🏼‍♂️

l'application permet d'aller à son rythme : il n'y a pas de pub, pas d'harcellement à pratiquer, un simple encouragement à recréer des salles (5 minutes et très simple) chaque jour, mais si on en rate, on peut quand même garder sa progression. Il n'y a donc aucun stress. Les leçons sont très didactique, c'est un plaisir de se laisser porter dans la progression. je suis arrivée au bout des cours gratuits après plus d'un mois de pratique régulière, et j'ai très envie de m'offrir l'accès aux cours suivants car je vois une vrai différence dans mon aisance à manipuler des souvenirs, des informations, et à gérer ma charge mentale au quotidien. I really liked the app and started to learn a lot. Couldn’t grasp the rooms well, but maybe needed more time figuring it out. It is something that you really need to commit to studying regularly and unfortunately between studying and life I couldn’t manage to get enough practice. My only down suffer is the main thing I wanted I’ve been waiting close to a year for…. the ‘coming soon’ biology set.

More than I even hoped for!

I hoped I could find an app that would really help me with my faulty memory after near death experience from a TBI. But it seems like all apps went to charge you something every month in order to use them. And then they want me to cancel it if I don’t like it well, since my problem is a faulty memory I don’t remember to go cancel them. This one teaches you with excellent information, ideas, tips, and tricks that actually work and then builds up on them as you go through the course. It is fantastic, and yes, you can pay for more later, but the free version is phenomenal and when it comes time to pay, I’ll do it because it’s more than proven it’s effectiveness and worth!

Really striking results

This is a great twist on a learning app in a day and age when everything digital is aimed at hijacking our focus and dopamine and keeping us on the apps while inducing “digital amnesia”. Memory OS does the exact opposite, by requiring only short amounts of time on a regular basis, and training you to not need an app to keep things organized for learning. It’s a great mix of demonstration and practice and just enough “gamification” to reward progress without causing addiction.

Let me start by saying I always thought of myself as having the worst memory of anyone I’ve ever met. And that’s not just me being harsh on myself; other people have commented on how bad my memory is. I have ADHD, which impacts my working memory. However, I also have a very poor long term memory as well and can’t remember vacations, movies, navigation, things I’ve learned, etc. to the point where it’s had a significant impact on my daily functioning and relationships. I’ve learned about neuroplasticity a bit so I figured I may as well try to train my memory. I’ve been doing the lessons in the app using the methods, and to my shock, I’ve been getting through each lesson and mind palace with near 100% accuracy. This app has already shown me that I can use tricks and intentionality to have great short term memory. My hope is that these skills end up improving my long term memory as well with practice. For the first time in a long time I have hope and belief that my memory can actually improve, instead of feeling like it’s always getting worse. This is especially true in the age of over reliance on AI and technology in place of memory. The app is well designed and the instructor is really good at explaining concepts. I like the streaks system as it keeps you accountable to practicing every day. I wish I knew about these techniques when I was in school as it would’ve been SO helpful when studying. I may end up purchasing a subscription in the future, but I am so grateful for how much content you can access for free. It’s way more than most apps would give you. This app is a must have for anyone who wants to improve their memory!

I’m sticking with it

I don’t normally follow through with phone games but I’ve come to enjoy this memoryos app so far. I also rarely (if ever) buy apps so I’m especially liking this one since it cost me nothing. I’m always on the quest to improve my terrible memory like getting memory help books, memory improvement podcasts etc. but I find it hard for me to stick with it. I’ve done a few modules on this app now and it hasn’t come to a screeching halt and asked to pay to continue. Non of that has happened (yet?). So I’m happy that I’ve gotten this far and I’m learning a few tips and tricks to improve my memory.

Too early to give a full and honest review. I am still a bit confused by the app. Initially there had been word remembrance lessons and now I seem to be searching rooms, remembering items and I can’t figure out how to get back to the word lessons. So for the moment it is going to take some further exploration to understand the possible benefits of this app. That being said it seems promising.

I‘m blown away by the tangible methods and quick wins! In the first 10 minutes I could memorize the 10 biggest countries in order and the Greek gods , would have taken days with normal read and repeat approach. Amazing!!!

I started going through the lessons and realized how well it works. It even become fun to learn and try to remember list of things. I’m using the free version but will probably switch to the pay as it’s totally worth it. I was so bad at memorizing stuff and names that it took me 6months to remember the name of my first girlfriend. I started remembering her name the day we split up :) (true story).

The game of memorizing palaces using visual cues works for the majority of people but is less useful for those of us with no mind’s eye. I memorize through patterns and words. It would be really good to see if this could be accommodated in your app.

I have tried quite a number of apps in the last year or so, but this one has really impressed me so far. Highly interactive, feels like solving puzzles and makes memorising even random things fun. Wish I had it when I was a student! It is initially a bit complicated and not brilliantly clear where to start though. I did eventually find my way around and through the follow ups by email, it became clear. May have been nice to have a sort of virtual tour and overview at first. Still, very highly recommended!

You can start right away, it was very engaging at first; I was really tired of the tasks, but it was very interesting. The app guides you through the tasks. English language skills are required. There could be more languages or at least subtitles under the videos. The games are good and enjoyable. The subscription is expensive, but I think it's worth it if someone practices every day.

It doesn’t magically upload school material into your brain; it teaches memorization techniques that must be learned and practiced. I’d heard of these methods before but never knew where to even start. This app fills that gap and truly teaches, not just gamifies. After one week I already feel mental improvement. Still exploring how to apply it to university studies (my motivation), but it’s amazing.

The app speaks to me so much because of the efforts that went into the development to reach this quality. This is the Mind opening training I was searching for.

I’m 63 and recently retired. I wanted to keep my brain sharp and have noticed I sometimes forget where I’ve placed a tool or book in my studio. I found MemoryOS last week and am thoroughly enjoying it. I can already see improvement in recall and have also started using some of the tools and tricks shown in the tutorial on a regular basis for basic situations in my daily routine. My memory is not very good

After i finished with schooling in 2000 and started to attend spiritual corses with a lot of meditation following the principle of "think about nothing" my brain really "went to sleep" :/ Now with MemoryOS app a really started to see first improvement in the past week of use. I Even started to have more intense dreams. I also remember my dreams more which seems cool to me. The mind palace and exercises with techniques in the program, really give you usefull tools to support better memorization. So I wormly recomand memoryOS app.

The videos are clear

the settings for speed and subtitles are great. The steps of the lessons work well, the guy talking about what he knows is giving realness. The free version teaches some basic concepts.

Great instructor and effective content

The instructor is encouraging, uses creative examples and seems like a kind person. The techniques really do work.

Easy to follow

Free version has a lot to teach, videos are clear and sweet, the speed settings and subtitles can be controlled.

Almost through the first course and it actually seems to work. Gamified experience seems to do the trick for me.

I’ve read the book a few years back, and recently discovered this app. It’s really great and fun to ‘play’ this mind game, to discover what your brain is capable of!

I am still new to this and within the first week. So far, MemoryOS has given me results on how to use memory techniques to remember critical learning objectives. This is an excellent way to practice and strengthen functional brain power. It’s actually intuitively brilliant in design after you give it a chance. I have no complaints, and it’s free to download!!

The app is pleasant to use, the host has a light and friendly disposition, and I find it comforting to visit. I get preoccupied throughout the day and improving my memory is the last thing I am thinking of. By evening the app gives me a gentle reminder to do my lesson for the day. And that helps me stay committed. It’s becoming habit.

I am enjoying this tremendously

It has encouraged me as my memory is firing and I am learning memory skills every session. I am now starting to practice using the skills in my daily life, using the new skills to remember my grocery list instead of writing it down and depending on the list instead of my brain.

This is the best memory app ever! I received almost instantaneous results in my memory!! I used to have a really short term memory and forgot things (even big things like my name or what year it was) so often that my close friends and family became concerned. I began to think it was a genuine problem… Eventually I started getting desperate to find ways to fix my memory issues. I tried using different techniques I found online as well as a bunch of different apps… but nothing worked. If anything, my memory only got worse. However, while I was procrastinating on work a couple days ago, I found this app and decided to download it. After a few days of having this app, I can now remember and store information in my brian that would have previously been impossible. THANK YOU FOR THIS WONDERFUL APP!!! PLEASE INSTAL, IT’S INCREDIBLY WORTH IT!

Very exiting and interesting. I enjoy the game. Can recommend it

The app is incredible

I struggle with memorization but by the end of a 13 minute lesson I could memorize all the countries in South America. Then in another 10 minute segment all the capitals and retain it! I can remember so much and revisit lessons quickly months later to reinforce the memories and they are intact even on days where my brain is foggy. Never would have believed it could be so simple.

So far I’ve only used the free version, and it’s great!! Easy and simple to use, no gimmicks, and you can see how helpful it is at remembering things! Very exciting and I hope to use it for a long time! 100% would recommend using it.

Brilliant application. Techniques are not new but the method of teaching them in bite size chunks and progressions is great and helpful.

Eventual successful access to the app

The access to the platform related to my preferred associated e-mail address was not easy, but, once I found and made time to work it out, I managed to unravel the conundrum without farther assistance required from support who were inundated by enquiries at the time. I could, simply, move onto the initial introductions which were very easy, comprehensible and effective. I look forward to following through going forward.
